Baline Chocolate, which means “This is Balinese Chocolate”. “ in the Balinese language, collaborates a company that processes non-timber forest products. They source high-quality chocolate ingredients from farmers in West Bali.
In our commitment to meet customer needs, Baline Chocolate continues to innovate, producing delicious chocolate products with packaging inspired by Bali’s themes, such as incorporating Bali’s traditional “Endek” motifs and characters from Balinese Pewayangan_(traditional puppetry based on local legends, Hindu epics such as the Ramayana and Mahabharata).

The history of Baline Chocolate started when a tour guide named I Ketut Widana felt disappointed and frustrated when he accompanied his guests to buy chocolate products as souvenirs, only to discover that the chocolates were made in neighbour countries. Driven by the desire to bring locally-made Balinese chocolates as souvenirs, Ketut decided to learn and attend classes to master the art of chocolate making.
In 2007, he successfully produced ready-to-consume chocolates packaged with the essence of Bali’s identity, featuring motifs of Wayang (shadow puppetry), Tari Kecak (Kecak Dance) and Poleng (a Balinese checkered cloth).
